Seeking Startup Innovations in Consumer Metaverse and Mobility Experiences
Extreme Tech Challenge is the world’s largest ecosystem and competition for purpose-driven technology inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). HARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., has been a founding corporate partner of XTC since 2019.
This summer, we are together launching the inaugural Harman-XTC Startup Challenge seeking new ventures that have developed breakthrough innovations that will impact-for-good tomorrow’s entertainment, consumer and mobility experiences including
- Next-gen experiential technology
- AR/VR
- Mixed Reality
- Metaverse infrastructure and interface
- Virtualization tools
- Gaming
- Mobility and transportation technology
Applications are now open here until August 19, 2022.
All entries will go through the respected XTC evaluation process as in our annual challenge, with finalists invited to present at the Harman Technology Forum, a major annual gathering of over 250 corporate technology leaders and hundreds of others to be held on September 28, 2022 at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.
Why Apply
The top teams will represent the world’s most innovative projects/startups in consumer, entertainment and mobility experiences. Top 8 Finalists will gain exclusive access to XTC’s global innovation & investor community, receive broad media coverage in both Harman and XTC’s media channels, as well as free admission to the full program of the Harman Technology Forum, and the 3 winners will gain an opportunity to brief a Harman technology committee on their innovations.
