Historically Black Colleges and Universities Competition
EXTREME TECH CHALLENGE
Innovation is based on new ideas and new ways of looking at things, and we also know that collision of ideas spurs innovation. Therefore, diversity is key to nurturing a rich startup ecosystem, which really speaks to a key strength of XTC, as the world’s largest startup ecosystem for purpose-driven, commercially viable companies.
With that, we’re excited to announce that we are launching a new regional competition this fall to highlight exceptional entrepreneurs from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the U.S.
In partnership with Smartpreneur, an entrepreneur development agency dedicated to creating the optimal conditions in which underrepresented entrepreneurs can succeed, this program will create better visibility for these founders and help them build a robust business network with resources and support beyond the competition period.
The winners from this new regional competition will automatically advance to be finalists of XTC 2022 and have an opportunity to go on and compete in the XTC Global Finals next year.
If you are an administrator from the HBCUs and are interested in learning more to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
If this mission resonates with you - corporate executives, venture capital investors and philanthropists - please join us.
