Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), a global competition that is dedicated to empowering startups to create new tech innovations to address global challenges. It is the world’s largest ecosystem and competition for purpose-driven technology inspired by the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With applicants spanning 6 continents, 92 countries, we are running the Australian regional finals of XTC during West Tech Fest, Western Australia’s longest-running innovation festival bringing together founders, investors and tech leaders.

The competition is free to enter and provides a platform for global growth and investment. The Top two finalists will automatically go into the global finals hosted by TechCrunch.

Australia’s leading energy producer, Woodside, will invest $50,000 into one of the Extreme Tech Challenge Round One finalists!

The deadline for XTC Australia Round One is the 24th of November 2021.

The Final Pitching is on the 6th of December 2021 via Zoom.
