XTC AI Award at NXP India’s 6th Tech Startup Challenge June 19th
For the past six years, Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) has proudly partnered with NXP India on its annual India Tech Startup Challenge, a program dedicated to identifying, supporting, and elevating India’s most promising deep-tech innovators. We were honored to once again participate in this year’s competition, which concluded on June 19th.
NXP India Tech Startup Challenge attracts entrepreneurs and innovators from across India, showcasing breakthrough technologies spanning AI, Electric Vehicle, Industrial Automation, Robotics, MedTech, and more.
This year’s finale was held virtually, culminating in the selection of three winners from a highly competitive group of 10 finalists. Those finalists were chosen from over 260 startup applications, underscoring the depth and diversity of India’s innovation ecosystem.
In addition this year, Extreme Tech Challenge gave a special Excellence in Applied AI Award to NAYAN India Science and Technologies.
NAYAN is a great example of physical AI in the urban mobility space – integrating CVPR, analytics and real-time updates to provide driver safety insights, reduce violations and accidents and proactive detection and resolution of roadway and infrastructure issues, offering seamless, scalable deployment across geographies.
As the recipient of XTC’s Excellence in Applied AI Award, NAYAN will be invited to showcase its innovation at XTC’s flagship AI:360 Summit this November in Palo Alto, where it will engage with global corporate leaders, investors, policymakers, and decision-makers across energy, infrastructure, and digital services.
