Extreme Tech Challenge & CoinDesk Announce Web 3 PitchFest Finalists Headed to Consensus

Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) and CoinDesk announce the Finalists of the Web 3 Pitch Fest: the inaugural, global Web 3 Pitch Fest as part of the Consensus Festival on Saturday June 11, 2022. This first-of-its-kind global competition aims to provide a platform for powering the many massively innovative projects and communities that are driving Web3 worldwide.
The Top 8 Finalists are:
- Bamboo, a micro-savings and micro-investment app to allow everyday people to seamlessly auto-invest into digital currencies.
- CELL PROTOCOL, a smart AMM that aims to become the liquidity gateway for CLOBs via simplified automated LP tools.
- DEEPER NETWORK, a decentralized VPN and firewall-for-life
- GIVEPACT, a free crypto fundraising platform for nonprofits that funds a community DAO for social impact.
- LET ME SPEAK, the first language learning metaverse around a simple and powerful concept — Earn while you Learn
- MERKLE SCIENCE, offering crypto risk and intelligence, setting the standard for next-gen financial safeguards and criminal detection, to ensure that anyone may transact with crypto safely
- METAGOOD, Metagood is a for profit company that launched the historic NFT collection OnChainMonkey, which has created significant value for its community and catalyzed social impact.
- MONA, an open metaverse creation platform allowing anyone to create and sell assets in the metaverse right from their browser.
The judges at Consensus are all Web 3, Cryptocurrency and blockchain trailblazers, including Meltem Demirors, Chief Strategy Officer at CoinShares and Francis Ho, Partner, Walden Catalyst Ventures.

Round Two Evaluators narrowed a field to the top 8 teams to pitch at Consensus.

Round One Evaluators narrowed a field of strong teams to the top 30. Evaluators included:

- Lisa Andrews, CEO of WAVIA and Singularity University Expert Faculty.
- Nick Stamatiou, CEO Radian Global, Cofounder Gamerplex.

- Paula Taylor, Co-Founder COTU & West Tech. Fest

3 Winners + Wild Card project receive:
