CES Day 1: Congratulations Digital Health & Fintech Winners!
This year is starting off with a bang! 🎉 XTC is in Las Vegas for the global tech event, CES, with thirty-two entrepreneurs ready to present their startups on stage.
CES is one of the most influential tech events in the world so we’re thrilled to be back here giving a platform to purpose-driven startups looking to make a difference in the world.
The presentations are across four different verticals – Digital Health, Fintech, Sustainable Smart Cities and Web3 – with a winner from each.
Day One at CES 2023
Day one saw our Digital Health and Fintech entrepreneurs pitch their innovations, every single one was so impressive and we were hard pressed to pick a winner but two really did stand out.
Munevo, innovators of a smart glass application that uses the built in sensors to translate head movements into control signals for wheelchairs, caught our judges attention in the Digital Health category becoming our 2023 winners! The goal of Claudiu Leverenz, CEO of Munevo, and the team was to develop a Google Glass app that would have a positive impact on the mobility of people in wheelchairs by providing a less stigmatising and more comfortable control system. We love the positive impact this will have for those who require the use of mobility aids!
For Fintech, the judges were won over by ExpedienteAzul, presented by Roberto Ibarra, a technological platform that digitises onboarding processes for grant financing. This startup presented the impressive benefits their automated file integration service provides, from closing 40% more deals with clients and shielding operations from fraud!
