TechCrunch Disrupt, a world-leading forum for debuting revolutionary startups, added a new twist to its Berlin event this year: top three startups from the XTC regionals were recognized on the main stage with the Custom Disruptor Award and received invitations to the XTC Finals Bootcamp.

Decomer Technology , a cleantech company, develops water-soluble and edible packaging material, that is environmentally friendly, as a replacement to plastic and other non-biodegradable materials.
Hala Systems , an enabling technology company, develops technology to harness crowd-sourced data to generate early warning for civilian evacuation. The technology has already proven to save hundreds of lives.
