XTC is partnering with SOSV to bring a startup competition for early stage companies, focused on Carbon Removal & Capture to the virtual, live SOSV Climate Tech Summit this year

Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), in partnership with the multi-stage venture firm SOSV, are thrilled to offer a Startup Innovation Challenge focused on Carbon Removal and Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS), as part of the upcoming SOSV Climate Tech Summit, September 26-27, 2023.
It is free, open to all, and promises 5,000 attendees; predominantly investors, founders, technologists and researchers. We are eagerly anticipating bringing the world’s largest startup competition to the virtual stage at the SOSV Climate Tech Summit!

The challenge is open to all early-stage startups, anywhere in the world, that are series A or earlier.
The deadline to apply is July 28, 2023; selected finalists will pitch live at the SOSV Climate Tech Summit on September 26, 2023. Extreme Tech Challenge and SOSV will announce the winner the following day.

The SOSV Climate Tech Summit will include two days of main-stage sessions featuring noted investors and founders in climate technology, as well as breakout sessions with more than 20 major climate investors, and an invitation-only Matchup between VCs and founders.
Applicants to the challenge will also be able to apply to the Summit’s Matchup event, which attracted over 500 investors in 2022.
